The Jacksonville Jaguars are once again expected to miss running back Leonard Fournette for their Week 6 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Fournette missed the team’s 30-14 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday after aggravating his hamstring injury against the New York Jets. It’s the same injury which he suffered in Week 1 and has kept him out for two other games this season.

The Jaguars have had some unfortunate injury luck with their running back. Corey Grant has been placed on injured reserve after he suffered a season-ending foot injury against the Chiefs. Meanwhile, T.J. Yeldon has been battling an ankle injury which has seen him limited in practice for the past few weeks.

With both Fournette and Grant out, Yeldon and Brandon Wilds are the two remaining running backs on the Jags’ roster. They could look to get another one in within the week ahead of the Cowboys game.

Yeldon has played well while filling in as a starter for Fournette this season. He had 53 yards on 10 carries to go with eight catches for 69 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs. He also had 100 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns against the Jets.

The Jaguars will need a better performance out of quarterback Blake Bortles to withstand Fournette’s absence for another week, though. Bortles had 430 yards passing with a rushing touchdown against the Chiefs, but he also committed four costly interceptions.

If he can cut down on those turnovers, the Jaguars defense should be good enough to keep them well in contention to get the win against the Cowboys.
