The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Philadelphia Eagles play a preseason game on Thursday night and the big storyline surrounding the game involves one player, Nick Foles. Even though the game is in Jacksonville, this is going to be a chance for Foles to catch up with a lot of his former teammates and Foles was asked about his emotions heading into the game.

Foles said he is excited to see everyone again and catch up with them pregame because they are all like family to him.

“It’ll mean a lot to see those guys pregame and catch up with a lot of those guys,” Foles said via the Jaguars team website. “They’re family to me, always will be. So, it’ll be good to see a lot of their faces and talk to them, see how they’re doing. I know they’re grinding through camp as well, so it’ll be good to catch up with a lot of them.”

Before a regular season game, there would still be a chance to see everyone, but the game would mean a lot more, so he probably wouldn't want to spend so much time talking to the guys. This is a preseason game though, so he can probably spend a little extra time chatting with some of the guys he was closest to.

It's unclear if Foles is going to see any action against the Eagles, and he said he isn't too concerned about that and will leave it up to the coaches.

“I’m going to leave all of those things up to coach. All I’m going to do is handle what I can control and that’s coming out here and competing with my teammates, working hard, studying the film, working in meetings and walkthroughs and whatever he decides I’ll go with.”
