After a breakout season in 2016 with the Cleveland Browns, Terrelle Pryor has struggled , but he is fully healthy and thinks he has found a great opportunity with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The last couple of years, he has bounced between three teams, catching only 36 passes total which Pryor blames on his foot. Pryor doesn't have any pain when starting and stopping during his routes which he thinks means another big year.

“The problem for me the past two years was really my foot,” Pryor said, via the team’s website. “After I tore my ankle two years ago, it was just so hard stopping and starting. Finally, it’s to the point where I have no pain and feel no stoppage on my ankle. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to come back and be able to have my foot exactly how I feel. It feels good. I’m happy about that.”

Pryor waited until the right opportunity presented itself and he thinks he has found that with the Jaguars. One of the reasons he decided to sign on in Jacksonville is because of his familiarity with offensive coordinator John DeFilippo. The two worked together with the Oakland Raiders and the Browns which means he already has a bit of familiarity with the system they will be running.

This is a place where he should get plenty of opportunities to prove that he still belongs a spot in the NFL and maybe with a big season he can earn a long term contract.
