It's been made pretty clear that the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to move on from Blake Bortles this offseason, which means they are going to be in the market for a new quarterback. Daniel Popper of The Athletic thinks the Jags need to target Tyrod Taylor to be their starting QB for this year, and maybe beyond.

The Jaguars currently hold the No. 7 pick in the draft and could trade up to get a quarterback. But even if they do that they might want whoever they draft to wait to start, and Taylor would be a perfect bridge guy.

“This just makes a lot of sense for the Jaguars for a number of reasons. First, Taylor fits into Marrone and Coughlin’s offensive philosophy. He doesn’t turn the ball over — he threw just four picks on 420 passing attempts as the Bills’ starter in 2017 — and is a sufficiently accurate deep ball passer. Second, he won’t break the bank in the long term. He signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Browns last offseason before losing the starting job to Baker Mayfield. He should command a similar deal in this market. Taylor would be the perfect bridge to whatever rookie the Jags draft in April.”

Even though the Jaguars really struggled this year, if the team can find a good quarterback to lead them they could have a big turnaround next year. It's unclear if Taylor would have interest in joining Jacksonville for the 2019 season, but it seems like a fit that would work for both sides.
