On the first day of his first free-agency period as an NFL head coach, Urban Meyer's Jacksonville Jaguars are making moves. Within one hour on Monday afternoon, three separate Jaguars signings were reported.

First, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported that Meyer's team has agreed with former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris on a three-year, $24.4 million deal, including $14 million in guaranteed money.

Robertson-Harris signed with Chicago after going undrafted out of UTEP in 2016. He started 13 games since 2017, including six in 2020 before undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery. He posted 10 total tackles, one tackle for loss, and five quarterback hits.

Minutes later, Garafolo reported that Jacksonville also scooped up Jamal Agnew for three years, $21 million (with incentives). The wide receiver/kick returner was drafted in the fifth round by the Detroit Lions in 2017 and led the league with 447 punt return yards and two scores as a rookie. Last season, Agnew had a career-high 13 receptions for 89 yards and a punt return TD. The 25-year old has five return TDs in his career.

But the Jags weren't done. A few moments later, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Jacksonville has added safety Rudy Ford to a two-year, $4.2 million deal. Ford, 26, started one game at strong safety for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020.

The Jaguars were expected to be busy in free agency given they entered the offseason with roughly $74 million in cap space. Coming off a 2-14 season, the franchise is looking to usher in a new era led by Meyer and presumptive No. 1 overall pick QB Trevor Lawrence.

So far, Meyer has proven ready and willing to spend, though Jags fans are likely hoping that a bigger name (or two) will eventually be included in their free-agent haul.
