Terrelle Pryor is attempting to reignite the same play he put together from his 2016 season in Cleveland when he switched to wide receiver. But now, on his fourth team in three year, the former quarterback finds himself fighting for a roster spot in Jacksonville.

And now, a setback comes his way as he suffered a hamstring injury against the Dolphins in the third preseason game.

In Pryor's first full season as a receiver he put caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns. It was a significant breakout for the former Buckeye as he looked to revitalize his career.

Unfortunately, it seems to have only worked for one season. Since his 2016 campaign, he's 36 passes for 492 yards and three touchdowns. He's only played in 17 games the last two years, and has made only three starts.

He's bounced around over the last two years after having not been able to recreate that same production from 2016. Now, he's fighting for a roster spot on an underwhelming Jaguars receiving corp.

The Ohio State product couldn't afford to be dealt with a hamstring injury like this so close to the regular season. Pryor was also producing in the third preseason game with three catches for 26 yards. But that all had to end early with the unfortunate sight of seeing him come off the field and not return.

If Pryor wants to make the Jaguars roster in 2019 then he'll need a speedy recovery and then come away with a strong game in the final preseason game. Otherwise, it might be the end for the former quarterback-turned-receiver.
