It appears unlikely that the Jacksonville Jaguars will be trading away Yannick Ngakoue according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. One of the big complications with the trade is that whatever team wants to make a move for him will probably want to work out an extension — one that's expected to be expensive.
The clock is running out on a deal for #Jaguars franchised pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue and there hasn’t been much traction to date. These deals are complicated and difficult — both in settling on compensation and doing an extension with his agent. At this point, unlikely.

Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com first reported that the Oakland Raiders had an interest in bringing in Ngakoue, but the Jaguars wanted the Raiders 19th overall pick. Ngakoue is an above-average player, but teams often love to hold on to their first-round draft picks, so it might be hard to get a deal done.
With this latest news, it will be important to keep an eye on Ngakoue's twitter account because there could be some fireworks forthcoming. Ngakoue got into a back and forth with Jaguars co-owner Tony Khan on Twitter, trying to force their hand to get him out of Jacksonville.
Since your feeling might today let’s both let the world in on the truth. We been had a discussion that the chargers game was my last game. Yet you try to back door the situation without answering any of my camps calls. Smh you spoiled bra.. holding up people for no reason 🤡

Ngakoue's frustrations with the Jaguars go back to last July when Tom Coughlin broke off talks about an extension for the defensive end's contract. The Jaguars had offered Ngakoue a deal that would have reportedly paid him $9 million a year. Ngakoue held out for 11 days during training camp but ended up rejoining the team and playing out the 2019 season.
At this point, it's clear that Ngakoue is very frustrated, and him playing for Jacksonville in 2020 seems like a pipe dream. This situation is probably going to get uglier before it gets better unless the Jaguars agree to trade him to a new team. But, for now, it doesn't look like that is in the immediate cards.
