It's official. Gardner Minshew is the most storied rookie quarterback in Jacksonville Jaguars history. On Sunday, the mustached 23-year-old tallied his 15th touchdown of the season, in doing so, setting the record for the most by a rookie quarterback in franchise history.

Minshew passed Byron Leftwich's record of 14, set in 2003.

Watch below. Minshew plays a little bit of backyard football. He pump fakes, evades pressure, navigates the pocket and throws a floater to tight end Nick O'Leary off-platform to set the record.

Though he can have his struggles, Minshew has been a revelation for the Jaguars as a sixth-round rookie. He likely would have set the record far sooner if Jacksonville had not benched him in favor of Nick Foles after their Week 9 loss to the Houston Texans.

The Jaguars are getting blown out against the Los Angeles Chargers. At least there are some positives from the game.
