Here we go with the wild Jake Paul claims again. The Youtuber turned Boxer is now taking a shot at one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world, Canelo Alvarez.

In a recent interview with Maxim, Paul made it clear that he has what it takes to beat the Mexican, while also throwing some massive shade at him in the process:

“I'm very confident,” Jake Paul said. “He's a killer at 168 pounds, but people forget that I naturally walk around at about 205, so there's a big weight difference. There's a big height advantage.

“Canelo hasn't fought someone who has really challenged him in the last couple of fights,” he added. “They've all been easy guys who just sort of fall on their ass.

Wow, Paul really wants the smoke. He's set to fight former UFC star Tyronn Woodley next month and in this same interview, he said he wants Conor McGregor and Alvarez next.

Also, don't forget that Canelo Alvarez is the one who said the Paul brothers were being disrespectful to the sport of boxing by showing up out of nowhere and fighting opponents. That probably irked Jake Paul too, which led to these comments.

Logan Paul recently fought Floyd Mayweather and actually held his own, which has definitely given Jake some confidence that he can fight top-tier boxers as well. Nonetheless, he'll need to get past Woodley first then he can potentially discuss a bout with the extremely talented Alvarez.
