One of the best defensive specialists in the NBA right now is Los Angeles Clippers forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

Mbah a Moute has earned the starting small forward spot for the Clippers and despite being surrounded by three stars and one of the best 3-point shooters in the league, his contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Jamal Crawford even believes Mbah a Moute should be in the conversation for the All-Defensive Team at the end of the season, saying this:

That's high praise for a player in a league with the likes of Kawhi Leonard.

Crawford is obviously going to back his guy, and maybe Mbah a Moute isn't quite Leonard, but he is definitely one of the best on the defensive end of the floor.

If the Clippers keep winning like they are and push the Warriors and Spurs for one of the top spots in the Western Conference, more of their players will receive consideration for these types of honors and Mbah a Moute might get the respect of some of the voters.
