The Brooklyn Nets were dealt a harsh blow when superstar forward Kevin Durant suffered an MCL injury during the team's contest against the New Orleans Pelicans this past weekend. There is obviously no replacing Durant, who is arguably the best player in the NBA right now. However, the Nets must trudge on without their superstar forward, who could miss four-to-six weeks on the most optimistic spectrum of timetables. Fellow Nets superstar James Harden was asked about what changes for the Nets in regard to the Durant injury. Harden dished the truth to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Nets star James Harden is exactly right with his “nothing changes” answer. Yes, replacing Kevin Durant is an impossible task, but Brooklyn has plenty of capable players, such as The Beard himself and Kyrie Irving, who is a part-time player, to pick up the slack during the games ahead.

Of course, leading a team is nothing new for James Harden, who did just that as a member of the Houston Rockets. Houston finished with a winning record in seven of the eight seasons Harden spent there, so The Beard is no stranger to putting a checkmark in the W column no matter who is around him.

James Harden will have to do just that as the Nets move forward following the Kevin Durant injury.

Just as Harden said, nothing changes.
