After the 2018 season that ended with a Super Bowl loss for the Los Angeles Rams, they could not have envisioned a start like this for their franchise quarterback. Despite the 2-1 record, Jared Goff has struggled.

Goff has thrown six touchdowns and six interceptions in four games. This includes a three-interception performance in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He attempted 68 passes in the loss. It does not get easier for the Rams as they get set to face the Seattle Seahawks.

Here are three predictions for Goff against Seattle.

3. Goff Stays Upright

The Legion of Boom is no more in Seattle. Their pass rush has also been weak. They are tied for 14th in the league with 10 sacks on the season.

Goff was sacked just twice in their loss against the Bucs despite attempting 68 passes. It will be the same result in this game. Expect Goff to get sacked at most twice. The Rams will have to try and get the run game going against Seattle. They can also keep the defense off-balance by getting the ball out quick to their speedster receivers.

The less Goff gets hit, the better chance he has to be successful.

2. Second Straight Multi-Turnover Performance

It was an ugly game for Goff against the Bucs. He threw three interceptions and coughed up a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. It is hard to win a game when the quarterback turns the ball over four times.

Well, Los Angeles will struggle once again because Goff will throw two picks against the Seahawks. The defense in Seattle is not what it used to be, but the secondary is still a strength. Right now, confidence has to be low for Goff and a matchup with the Seahawks is not the remedy to get it back.

1. Critics Get Even Louder

After the Tampa Bay game, criticism of Goff is already at an all-time high under Sean McVay. Coming into the season, the Rams were expected to take a step back and it is beginning with Goff. They are 3-1, but their quarterback does not look like himself.

If he comes out and turns the ball over twice and picks up a second loss in a row, Goff will face more criticism than ever. The Rams signed their franchise quarterback to a four-year, $134 million contract with $110 million guaranteed. Goff cashed in on a Super Bowl appearance, but it is time that he begins to earn that money in 2019.
