The frenzy of NHL free agency is upon us as teams look to increase their chances of hoisting the Stanley Cup. There have been a number of notable moves made, but one player may feel he is being left out. Veteran and two-time Stanley Cup Winner Jaromir Jagr took to Twitter to shoot his shot at NHL teams Wednesday afternoon.

While he may be joking about returning to the NHL, Jagr's playing days are not entirely over. The 24-year NHL veteran still suits up for the club he owns in the Czech Republic, HC Kladno, as a part-time player. Last season with the team Jagr scored eight goals and tallied 11 assists.

It honestly would not be a major surprise if Jagr could still hold up against NHL talent. The 1999 NHL MVP played his last minutes in the 2017-18 season. At the ripe age of 45, he still was producing at a fairly high level. Jagr has had an impressive career which includes five Ross Awards for the league's top scorer, 1733 games played, and two championships. He remains ineligible for the Hall of Fame as he is still technically playing professionally in the Czech republic.

While you have to respect the attempt at getting back in the league, there would be no shame in Jaromir Jagr hanging up the skates for good. The veteran has an impressive list of accomplishments on the ice that few players are able to rival. The longevity of his career is one of the most impressive feats across all sports and it is clear hockey always will have a place in his life.
