Like a lot of other people, Cleveland Cavaliers big man JaVale McGee has been following the developments in the surge of the stock of companies like GameStop and AMC, which has caught the attention not just of Wall Street, but also the internet.

One aspect of the saga that McGee can’t seem to wrap his head around is why people are being stopped to trade the GameStop and AMC stock that they bought, and he took to Twitter to ask for an explanation.

McGee is not shy about sharing his thoughts on social media, and some fans have responded positively to his tweet. Meanwhile, on the court, McGee and the Cavaliers are doing well, with Cleveland routing the Detroit Pistons, 122-107, on Wednesday to bounce back from a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and move up to 9-9 this season.

However, the 33-year-old didn’t play against the Pistons after scoring eight points and pulling down two rebounds in 13 minutes against the Lakers, his former team, which he helped to the NBA title last season. The three-time champion has improved on his numbers from last season, averaging 8.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.1 blocks in 15 games for the Cavaliers.

McGee has recently been rumored to be a target of the Brooklyn Nets, which is looking to shore up its frontline after adding James Harden from the Houston Rockets. However, no deals have been made so far, and McGee and the Cavaliers will next face the New York Knicks on Friday as they look to move above .500. But before the game against the Knicks, he first really wants to know what’s happening with the GameStop stock frenzy.
