The Boston Celtic‘s summer league team was eliminated from the Summer League playoffs by the Cleveland Cavaliers this past Wednesday, 58-54. They played a consolation round game on Friday, where they lost to the Portland Trailblazers, giving them only one win in their Las Vegas Summer League season.

Celtic's reporter Marc D'Amico caught up with Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown after the game. Here's what he had to say:

Jaylen seems like he is going to polish up his game before heading into his first season with the Celtics. Jaylen could work on his shooting before the season begins in late October/early November. Jaylen shot 33% from the field in the summer league, which can definitely be improved on before he steps onto the main stage.

Jaylen was drafted 3rd overall  in the 2016 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He played one season at the University of California, where he averaged 14.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2 assists per game with the Golden Bears. In the Las Vegas Summer League, the 19 year old averaged 14.8 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, which is close to what he averaged at University of California.

Jaylen looks like he can become a great player in this league. After a couple of seasons, he could be a rising star.
