Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kemba Walker believes Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is “a natural-born leader.”

Walker and Mitchell have been starting together in the backcourt for Team USA. The new Celtics point guard says the sky is the limit for Mitchell, who has embraced a leadership role on Team USA.

“You wouldn't think he's the age he is, he's ahead of his years,” Walker said, via Brian Windhorst of ESPN. “He a natural-born leader. His skill set is unbelievable. He's a great player but he knows he has so much room for improvement. He wants to work.”

The Jazz are thrilled about Donovan Mitchell's involvement with Team USA this summer. They believe Mitchell is going to be a more mature and polished basketball player after spending time with head coach Gregg Popovich and other elite basketball talents.

Mitchell averaged 23.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists last season for the Jazz while shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line. Utah is hoping Mitchell will turn into an All-Star player next season after playing for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup.

Mitchell has already established himself as one of the best young scorers in the league. The next step for the Jazz star is to become more efficient and lead Utah on a championship run.
