The Utah Jazz are in a precarious situation right now. Their record is currently at 33-26, good enough for them to hold on to the sixth spot in the Western Conference, and while they do have the second easiest schedule in the league over the next two months, head coach Quin Snyder wants his team to play their best basketball moving forward.

Pretty much like last year, the Jazz has been able to turn things around after being inconsistent for the first two months of the season. However, Snyder believes that the team still needs to address their flaws in order for them to become a better team heading into the playoffs.

“Whether it be turnovers, transition defense, not communicating, the enemy for us is mistakes. Turnovers is one example of that. The more mistakes we make, the more things we have to do really well. Against the very best teams, you can’t overcome mistakes.”

Snyder made these comments after seeing the results of Utah's last two games, They committed 25 turnovers in their one-point loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but only had seven in their double-digit win against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Jazz are currently one of the best teams in the league in terms of protecting the ball, and Snyder believes that if they become more consistent on limiting their turnovers, they will become a better team moving forward.

However, they have to address all the little mistakes as well. They could still go down in the standings, or even lose their playoff spot if they don't play better moving forward.

Still, the Jazz seems to have everything under control and barring any late season collapse, they are likely headed into this year's postseason.
