Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio dismantled the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night during a 115-102 victory over OKC in Game 3.

Rubio's triple-double effort could not be stopped by Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City defense, as the reigning league MVP guaranteed to “shut that s— off” in Monday night's pivotal Game 4 showdown.

Jazz rising star rookie shooting guard Donovan Mitchell, who was second on the team in scoring in Game 3 with 22 points and 11 rebounds, responded to Westbrook's comments about Rubio on Monday afternoon in a video posted to Twitter by the official Jazz team account.

“The biggest thing that I respect about Russ is the competitive nature,” Mitchell said. “I think we all know Ricky played pretty amazing last game. So the competitor in anybody would be to go back in and go after it the next game. That's just how this league is.”

That's a very classy response from Mitchell with the praise of Westbrook, as the rookie guard also understands that he and his Utah teammates cannot get strung out over a bold comment that one player said.

“We're ready for it. We're not really thinking about one specific comment. We're trying to build off of the we played last game and continue to do the same thing,” Mitchell said. “We understand that they're going to make adjustments. They're going to make adjustments to how we've played, how they've played on offense and how we play defense. It's going to be a fun game tonight.”

With a 2-1 series lead, the Jazz will look to take protect their home court and push the Thunder to the brink of elimination.
