Apart from his skills on the court, Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell is not lacking confidence in terms of his virtual prowess in NBA 2K20.

The one-time All-Star, who is among the 16 athletes participating in the players-only 2K tournament, claimed that not a lot of people know how good he is with the sticks.

Donovan Mitchell was seeded number 4 in the online tourney, which was determined based on his 2K rating and tenure in the league. He is slated to match-up with the 13th seed, occupied by Washington Wizards rookie Rui Hachimura.

The 23-year-old Jazz guard, however, must be wary considering upsets have been the early trend of the tournament so far in Round 1.

The 16th-seeded Derrick Jones Jr. of the Miami Heat took down number one seed Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets to start things off. Phoenix Suns center DeAndre Ayton, who was ranked 10th, also turned back 7th seed Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls.

Mitchell, on the other hand, certainly have plenty of reasons to feel upbeat these days after he was 100 percent cleared from the coronavirus. His Jazz teammate and fellow All-Star Rudy Gobert was cleared as well, along with the unnamed infected players from the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.

The Spidah was enjoying a phenomenal season with the Jazz prior to the hiatus, tallying 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.0 steal in 63 games.

With the fate of the 2019-20 NBA regular season still uncertain, fans will have to make do with watching the NBA 2K tournament in the meantime.

Mitchell will have to put his money where his mouth is, considering the other participants are quite skilled as well.
