Another day, another game-winner in the NBA. This time, it was Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell's turn as he sealed a game-stealing floater to burn the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday, 110-109.

With the Jazz down by one with under 14 ticks left in the fourth quarter, Mitchell put on his cape and practically asked his teammates to get out of the way. They obliged by giving him all the space he needs at the top of the key and blew by defender Lou Dort on his way to the cup.

The high-flying Mitchell adjusted as the help defense came his way and banked a high-arching teardrop that gave them a one-point advantage with only seven seconds remaining on the clock.

The Thunder had a chance to steal the win but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed his layup. With the win, the Jazz improved to 2-1 and bounced back from their loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 6-foot-1 Mitchell struggled against the pesky defense of Dort, going 8-for-23 from the field and just 2-of-10 from downtown. The All-Star guard, however, came through when the Jazz needed him the most and nailed the most important shot of the game. He finished with 20 points, two rebounds, and five assists in 35 minutes.

He also got some much-needed help from Bogdan Bogdanovic who tallied a team-high 23 points and Mike Conley, who added 20 markers.

Donovan Mitchell is expected to further elevate his status as one of the best young players in the NBA. The Jazz recently rewarded him after his breakout campaign last year by giving him a massive $195 million extension.
