Donovan Mitchell is slowly but surely becoming a household name. The 2-time All-Star led the Utah Jazz to the best record in the NBA during the regular season and has been a proven postseason performer throughout his brief career. But apparently he still needs to win over a few more fans who still aren't 100% on what he looks like.

The Jazz star revealed that he was hilariously mistaken for an impostor when he was simply trying to make a purchase at a CVS.

To give the kid the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he was just in utter disbelief that it was actually Donovan Mitchell standing before him. He could have just been pulling the Jazz star's leg in an attempt to have some fun with a world-famous NBA player. Maybe he was thinking of Davion Mitchell instead? Or perhaps he genuinely didn't recognize him as the man who averaged 32.3 points and 5.5 assists during these playoffs before getting eliminated.

Safe to say that Spida saw the humor in the encounter enough to tweet about it. Mitchell could definitely use this slight as motivation to come back stronger for the Jazz next season. If he can bring a championship and a national spotlight to Utah, he'll probably be recognized in every CVS in the country.
