The Utah Jazz fell to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, but Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley aren't concerned with the outlook of the team. Following a rare loss, Mitchell and Conley both spoke about what their defeat to the Mavericks means, via Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Conley would share the same sentiment that the Jazz aren't going to overreact to one loss on their schedule.

Heading into Monday's showdown with Dallas, Utah was amid a nine-game winning streak, including three straight on the road. However, the Mavericks would prove to be a tough opponent for the Jazz, ending their streak with a 111-103 victory.

Despite the loss, Utah still holds the best record in the NBA at 38-12 and they are 2.5 games ahead of the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference. The Jazz have now had three winning streaks of nine or more games this season, with their largest being an 11-game winning streak earlier in the season.

The sample size of success makes it even more impressive,  as Utah has won 29 of their 38 games this season by double-digits, proving that they can dominate when they are at their best. Of their nine losses, the Jazz have been defeated by more than 10 points only four times.

Over the course of the season, no team is going to win every game that is put on their schedule. Mitchell and Conley realize that as they look to put the recent loss behind them ahead of their upcoming clash with the Suns on Wednesday.
