Every season, the NBA holds its annual Christmas games to delight the fans during this festive time of the year. Tuesday, a schedule of said games were leaked to the public before official confirmation on Wednesday, and one of the games will feature the Utah Jazz hosting the Portland Trail Blazers.

Jazz star Donovan Mitchell took the league by storm last year as a rookie, and apparently his prediction game is on point, too. Mitchell made a prediction last year that his team would be participating on Christmas Day in the near future.

At that point in time, nobody paid serious attention to his prediction because the Jazz had yet to prove themselves as a worthy contender in the stacked Western Conference. But after finishing fifth in the West and beating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs, the Jazz have become a household name in the conference. Mix that with the potential and brilliance that Mitchell brings to each game, and Utah packs a wallop of talent and teamwork.

With the confirmation that the Jazz are set to play on Christmas Day 2018, Mitchell did not hold back in letting people know about his accurate prediction.

A close runner-up for the Rookie of the Year award last season, Jazz fans hope that Mitchell will continue his outstanding performance. Mitchell averaged 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists last season.
