Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is a huge baseball fan, so he was tuned in during Game 3 of the NLCS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves.

Mitchell was hoping for a close game, but the Dodgers didn't oblige as they kicked off the game with a dominant start. With that said, the Jazz star couldn't help but tweet his disbelief.

Right after Donovan Mitchell sent the tweet, the Dodgers scored another run to make the score 15-0.

Mitchell grew up a multi-sport athlete. His father, Donovan Mitchell Sr., actually played minor league baseball for the Houston Astros. He currently works for the New York Mets as director of player relations.

Jazz fans are obviously very happy Mitchell chose basketball over baseball, as he's one of the best young players in the NBA. Utah is expected to sign the All-Star shooting guard to a rookie-scale extension this offseason, which will set up Mitchell and his family with generational money.

During the 2019-20 regular season for the Jazz, Mitchell averaged 24.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while making his first All-Star team. The high-flyer put up 36.3 points per game in the first round of the 2020 playoffs against the Denver Nuggets, but Utah lost the series in seven games after taking a 3-1 series lead.

Moving forward, Mitchell is motivated to lead the Jazz on a deep postseason run.
