Sometimes all it takes is one word to get a point across. Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell was able to convey how impressed he was by using just one word. Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma dropped 23 points in the first quarter of the Lakers game against the Philadelphia 76ers. That prompted Mitchell to give him some social media props.

Enough said.

Kuzma was part of the Lakers' return in the trade that sent D'Angelo Russell to Brooklyn.  In his second year in Los Angeles, he is averaging 18.7 points, 2.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in 32.6 minutes per game. This is far from his first impressive performance this year, after he scored 41 points earlier this year against the Detroit Pistons.

The crazy thing is that Kuzma was close to not being a Laker. In the very public talks between Los Angeles and the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis, Kuzma was in the return package.

Impressing Mitchell is not the easiest thing to do. He is pretty good at basketball as well. In his first year, many believe he was unfairly snubbed for Rookie of the Year. In year two, he is even better. So far this year he is averaging 22.4 points, 1.6 steals, and 4.0 assists per game.

Scoring 23 points in a quarter is  a very impressive feat. With about nine minutes left in the third quarter it was clear some adjustments had been made. Kuzma totaled 27 points at that time.

Either way, Mitchell liked what he saw from Kuzma early in the game.
