You may look funny now, but you’re never going to look as goofy as your high school self. That’s just another lesson in life learned today by Utah Jazz hotshot Donovan Mitchell, as he poked fun at the bald head he sported during his high school days.

It’s a clever move for Mitchell to roast himself before anyone does. By doing so, it takes away the fun from trolls looking to decimate him online.

The video was taken back when he was still suiting up for the Brewster Academy Bobcats in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Speaking of decimating, that’s exactly what Mitchell did most of the time back in his rookie season to his defenders.

In his first year in the league, Mitchell sort of came out of nowhere to put himself among the top candidates to win the Rookie of the Year honors, as he averaged 20.5 points per game right out of the gate of his NBA career. He failed to win the Rookie of the Year award, but he’s already cemented himself as the new face of the Jazz’s franchise.

Donovan Mitchell can always go back to sporting a bald head just to get that Michael Jordan vibe back. After all, he is wearing No. 45 because he wants to be like Mike growing up, though, that may not be a good idea, considering he’s playing for Utah.
