Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell expressed gratitude to former teammates Grayson Allen, Jae Crowder and Kyle Korver on Wednesday.

Mitchell took to Twitter and posted photos of him with Crowder, Korver, and Allen along with a touching message. The three players were part of the package traded to the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday in exchange for Mike Conley. Mitchell thanked his former teammates for helping him on and off the court.

The Jazz also sent the 23rd pick in the draft and a protected 2020 first-round pick to the Grizzlies, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The second pick involved will be a late lottery pick next year or in 2021. If it does not convey in 2021, it will be a slightly protected pick in 2022, 2023 or 2024.

Crowder also posted his reaction on Instagram. The veteran forward, who moved from the Cleveland Cavaliers to Utah via trade before the deadline in 2018, also thanked Jazz fans for supporting him in the past two seasons.

For his part, Conley expressed excitement on the new chapter of his career. The superstar guard spent the first 12 seasons of his NBA career with the Grizzlies, who drafted him fourth overall in the 2007 NBA Draft. In his final season in Memphis, the 31-year-old guard averaged 21.1 points and 6.4 assists per game.
