It appears Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell is intrigued by the talent the 2019 NBA Draft had to offer.

Many have pegged New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson as the clear-cut favorite to win the NBA Rookie of the Year award. However, while Mitchell thinks that way too, the Jazz star feels Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant and Chicago Bulls playmaker Coby White could also prove to be deserving of the honor.

The prospect of Mitchell's comments may seem a bit far-fetched at this point. Williamson had been declared the No. 1 pick even before he started his career at Duke, and that hype has only grown bigger now that he is in the NBA. There is hope that he can lead a potential resurgence in New Orleans moving forward.

Of course, Williamson is slated to have plenty of help following the crop of promising, young talent the Pelicans got from the Los Angeles Lakers for big man Anthony Davis. This could very well cut into Williamson's production as a rookie. Meanwhile, both Morant and White will be tasked with facilitating the offense for their respective teams.

The Grizzlies have gone in full rebuild mode after trading point guard Mike Conley Jr. to the Jazz this offseason. Morant is now expected to serve as his successor moving forward and will undoubtedly be expected to make an immediate impact.

White has also started to generate some buzz with his play at the La Vegas Summer League. It is clear that he has already made quite the impression on Mitchell and will likely remain on his radar as the year plays out.
