Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell's positive diagnosis for the coronavirus (COVID-19) is surely no laughing matter. The 23-year-old guard is now accepting fate and making the best of the situation.

Mitchell, who is currently under quarantine, tweeted a hilarious clip of how the entire NBA will look like after the possibly lengthy hiatus. The short video shows players diving all over the floor after a series of sloppy plays.

Donovan Mitchell is one of three NBA players who tested positive for the contagious disease. The others are Jazz teammate Rudy Gobert and Detroit Pistons center Christian Wood.

His comical tweet might have some truth to it. Players will indeed have some rust in them since the NBA is not expected to return for at least two months.

The league is reportedly hatching a plan to resume action with closed-door games to be held practice facilities.

Athletes have been advised to follow social distancing and stay indoors as much as possible. Team practices have also been barred for the time being.

Meanwhile, young stars like Luka Doncic, Trae Young, and Ja Morant have traded their basketballs for video game controllers during the hiatus. Some are fighting off boredom by uploading their hilarious Tiktok dance clips.

Prior to his diagnosis, Mitchell was having his best season as a pro. He's averaged 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.0 steal in 63 games.

Both Mitchell and Gobert made the All-Star team for the first time this season. The Jazz currently hold a 41-23 record (fourth in the Western Conference).
