Donovan Mitchell's absence from Game 1 wasn't just noticeable, it was controversial. But with the Utah Jazz star putting all that to bed in Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies, he's back to making defenders look silly on the basketball court.

Catch the Jazz frontman talk some trash at Grizzlies wing Dillon Brooks:

Jazz fan or not, you love to see it. The 2-time All-Star is back and healthy after having the latter part of his regular season wiped out by a serious ankle injury.

The Donovan injury saga was perplexing to say the least. After it seemed like it was all systems go for the Jazz guard in Game 1, he was suddenly held back from taking the court just before tip-off. Mitchell addressed the fans after the ordeal, which led to them falling 0-1 in their series against the Grizzlies.

The hold out was clearly to make sure that Mitchell was 100% ready to take the court. While obviously every player, especially the team's star, would want to be there to start the postseason, Spida might have been too eager relative to his true condition.

The Utah Jazz finished the 2020-21 NBA season with the best record in the league. With their star finally back in tow, look for them to make some noise in the playoffs.
