After losing Gordon Hayward to the Boston Celtics in free agency, the Utah Jazz started the 2017-18 NBA season with a solid 5-3 record. Unfortunately, they have lost seven out of their last eight games as Rudy Gobert is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a bone bruise in his right knee suffered against the Miami Heat.

Since signing with the Jazz back in 2014, Joe Ingles has seen Utah improve from 38 to 51 wins. As a result, he is in unfamiliar territory during the team's losing streak and was very honest about how he feels according to Eric Woodyard of Deseret News:

For a team that has lost their best offensive player in free agency and best defensive player to injury for now, it is an extremely tough challenge for head coach Quin Snyder and company. As a result, they will need to stick together more than ever and rely on their teamwork.

Fortunately for the Jazz, it is still early in the season. Despite two separate losing streaks, they are only two games back of the Memphis Grizzlies (7-7) and New Orleans Pelicans (8-8) in the Western Conference. With the frustrating mounting, it will be interesting to see how Ingles and his teammates respond as they continue their road trip against the Orlando Magic.
