Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles has been fined $15,000 after a groin shot to Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams on Saturday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

This isn't Adams' first go-around at the receiving end of these, most notably catching a kick to the groin during the 2016 NBA Western Conference Finals from Draymond Green.

While this wasn't nearly as horrific, the league is still keeping a close eye on any fouls below the belt and above the shoulders, tagging the Aussie small forward with a fine.

The incident took place with 8:53 remaining in the third quarter — Adams came across the lane on offense and Ingles took a swipe at his groin with his left hand. The Thunder then used a timeout seconds later and Adams was assessed a technical foul after shoulder-bumping Ingles in his way to the bench.

The Thunder were at the receiving end of two losses over the weekend, first falling to the defensive Jazz and later to the Minnesota Timberwolves after an illegal screen.

The Jazz have won two of their three games thus far into the season, making the most of their situation despite the absence of Rodney Hood after an injury on the second game against the Timberwolves.
