Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles is open to coming off the bench next season if that's what head coach Quin Snyder wants, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic.

Ingles started all 82 games last season, but the Jazz could move Royce O'Neale into the starting lineup next season since he's the better defender.

What we do know is that Utah is going to start Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic and Rudy Gobert.

Ingles was noticeably tired toward the end of last season and the Jazz want to slightly lessen his responsibilities on both ends of the floor. Bogdanovic, a prized free-agent get from the Indiana Pacers, is slated to start at one forward spot. O’Neale could be a fit at the other as one of the better defenders in the league, plus a low-usage guy who is capable of spacing the floor.

Ingles will play between 25 and 30 minutes a night regardless of his status as a starter. Sources tell The Athletic that Ingles is open to coming off the bench. And whether Ingles starts or not, he likely closes most nights.

Last season, Joe Ingles averaged 12.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 44.8 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from beyond the arc and 70.7 percent from the free-throw line.

With Conley and Bogdanovic in the mix, many believe the Jazz can compete for a championship next season. We'll see if Utah is able to live up to those expectations.
