Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles took to Twitter Friday morning in an attempt to squash the rumor that his teammates, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, are upset with one another.

As part of his replies to fans on Twitter, Ingles noted that he is not mad at Gobert for his actions:

Like a lot of other NBA players, it seems the Jazz veteran is spending most of this newfound down time with his family:

Gobert became the NBA's first confirmed case of COVID-19 back in mid-March. Prior to being diagnosed, the French-born big man made it a point to touch every microphone during a postgame media session, seemingly making light of the situation. The Jazz All-Star received quite a bit of flak for the act, as the world was just coming to understand the dangers of the virus and how it spreads.

One day after Gobert tested positive, Donovan Mitchell became another confirmed case. There were reports that indicated Gobert was being careless in the team's locker room, touching the personal belongings of his teammates. Fortunately, both have since been cleared of the virus.

Still, rumblings soon came out that Mitchell was upset with Gobert. The Jazz guard even acknowledged it on “Good Morning America,” and the hope is they can ultimately most past this.

Gobert has since apologized for his careless behavior. Furthermore, he donated more than $500,000 to support both the employee relief fund at Vivint Smart Home Arena and COVID-related social services relief in Utah, Oklahoma City and within the French health care system, according to an official report from the Jazz.

Shortly after news of Gobert's diagnosis went public, the NBA announced that the 2019-20 regular season would be suspended. At this point, it's not clear when play might resume, though some officials are hoping that games can be played later this year.
