Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles has amassed quite a following in recent years for his no-nonsense approach to the game of basketball.

Although he is grateful for every admirer he meets, the 32-year-old Aussie recently opened up about the disrespectful behavior of a fan who requested for a photo while he was enjoying some time with his family.

Like most NBA players, Joe Ingles welcomes the opportunity to engage with fans and share a moment with them through small talk and photo opportunities.

Some rowdy fans, however, seem to fail to establish boundaries when dealing with celebrities in public.

More and more athletes have been speaking out about these types of situations with fans. Last year, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green claimed that NBA players are “vulnerable” during these interactions.

Although Ingles' brush off with a fan was not physical in nature, such incidents once again open the discussion between player-fan dynamics.

Meanwhile, Joe Ingles is now on his fourth season in Utah. He continues to be one of the team's vital pieces in their strong campaign so far.

Jingles is averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 54 games heading at the All-Star break. The lefty shooter is also knocking down 43.3 percent of his field goals and hitting 39.6 percent of his shots from downtown.

His ability to play the point-forward role continues to be a crucial asset for head coach Quin Snyder's offense.

The Jazz are currently ranked fourth in the Western Conference with a 36-18 record. They won their last four consecutive games before heading into the break.

Ingles will certainly have more interactions with fans, especially if Utah makes it far in the postseason. Let us do hope fans will say “please” first before asking for a selfie this time around.
