After torching the San Antonio Spurs with 30 points on Wednesday, Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson reminded everyone why he's tagged as one of the fastest rising stars in the NBA.

Clarkson came off the bench and shot 12-of-16 from the field to help guide the Jazz to a 126-94 win over the Spurs and reclaim the top spot in the NBA. After the game, Clarkson said it's his job to score and no matter what happens, he will keep firing away (via Eric Walden of the Salt Lake Tribune).

“I’m a hooper, I’m gonna shoot my shots. (Sometimes) they’re going to go in, sometimes they’re going to miss. That’s part of the game. I’m always confident, I’m always going to take those shots and, you know, keep it rolling.”

Unless you've been living under a rock, Clarkson is definitely the top favorite to win the Sixth Man of the Year award. The 28-year-old is averaging 17.3 points per game on 41.4 percent shooting from the field and 31.1 percent from deep. There have been many games where he decided to just explode and score 20-30 points in a jiffy and snag the win for the Jazz. Almost every single soul agrees that Clarkson is one of the biggest reasons for the Jazz's success this season.

For those who have been following his career, Clarkson has always had an almost Kobe Bryant approach on offense. They've seen him go on scoring outbursts during his stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The same is true for the Jazz. The only difference now is that Jordan Clarkson's confidence is brimming even more.
