While playing against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley was forced to leave due to a hamstring injury.

Per Derek Bodner of The Athletic, Conley was diagnosed with some left hamstring tightness.

Conley exited the game with seven points on 3-of-9 shooting, along with six rebounds, and two assists in 23 minutes of play. The veteran guard left the game with over six minutes to go in the third quarter as the Jazz were down by a huge margin, 73-50.

He entered the game averaging only 14.3 points (his lowest output since the 2012-13 season) and 4.5 assists — his lowest since the 2008-09 season, excluding the 2017-18 season where he only played in 12 games — per game.

Conley struggled in his first few games donning the Jazz jersey. But little by little, as he got more comfortable with his relatively new role, he put up great numbers and helped the Jazz pile up victories.

Being a key part of the Jazz's roster, expect the team to be a bit cautious about handling Conley's situation. After all, the Conley-Jazz deal was seen as one of the biggest acquisitions in the offseason. The former Memphis guard is expected to bring the Quin Snyder-led squad further into the playoffs.
