It's been a crazy 48 hours for Mike Conley Jr. and the Utah Jazz. They had to go through a traumatic incident on Tuesday when the team plane had a bird strike incident shortly after taking off, which resulted in an engine failure. The chartered flight had to make an emergency landing and thankfully, no one was hurt.

Conley and the rest of the Jazz had to suit up for their Wednesday game against the Memphis Grizzlies despite the crazy accident. Fortunately, they were able to set aside their trauma and balled out for 48 minutes to come out with a huge 111-107 win at the FedEx Forum.

After the game, Conley opened up on how scary the flight incident was for them (via Tim McMahon of ESPN).

For those of you who have seen Tom Hanks' movie Sully, you can probably imagine how crazy it must've been inside that airplane.

Like Conley, Jazz coach Quin Snyder also shared his thoughts on the terrifying incident. According to the 54-year-old mentor, he was able to sit down with the entire team on Wednesday morning before their game to process what happened, and he couldn't help but feel a little existential (via ESPN).

“In hindsight, you have a gratitude and appreciation for the many relationships we all have. Those are things we say and we mean, but in those times, we truly feel is at a heightened level.”

For sure, Mike Conley Jr. said kudos as well to the entire flight crew for their amazing job, as well as the entire Jazz team for pulling through.
