Utah Jazz starting point guard Mike Conley says he's “trying to improve every aspect of my game overall.”

Conley is entering his first season with the Jazz in 2019-20. The lefty says at this stage of his career, it's all about fine tuning his game and making sure his body is ready for an 82-game regular season.

“Really, as I’ve gotten older, it’s mainly been my body,” Conley told Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype. “I’m just constantly working on my body and making sure it’s in the absolute best shape it can be by the time September rolls around.

“As far as basketball goes, I’m just trying to improve every aspect of my game overall. I want to be better defensively, shooting spot-ups, shooting off-the-dribble, in one-on-one situations, finishing at the rim, and in transition. This year might be different because being on a new team, I might not handle [the ball] as much, so what areas can I be effective when I don’t have the ball? I’m working on off-ball situations. It’ll be an interesting year and I’m excited for the unknown and what’s new to come.”

Last season, Mike Conley averaged 21.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists for the Memphis Grizzlies while shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Jazz can't wait to see Conley and Donovan Mitchell in action together next season. Both players are dynamic scorers who put constant pressure on defenses.
