Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert made headlines recently by calling Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters' actions dirty after a hard collision between the two. Gobert sustained a bump to the knee on the play and has been ruled out for the next month.

Both players have since exchanged jabs with Dion Waiters suggesting that last year's Defensive Player of the year runner-up overreacted to the play. However, Rudy Gobert said he does not see himself holding a grudge against the Heat guard during an appearance on The Woj Podcast with Adrian Wojnarowski.

“I don't like the way it happened. I can't be mad at someone forever. I think now it's time for me to, after a few days, just focus on getting back and focus on my team. But yeah, it's frustrating. I worked so hard this summer to be ready this year, and when this play happens it's frustrating because myself and my team get penalized.”

It is easy to see why Gobert's frustration was so apparent following the incident. The Jazz have struggled thus far while trying to recover from the departure of All-star forward Gordon Hayward.

Up to that point, Rudy Gobert was a large part of the reason why they had even remained competitive to start the 2017-18 NBA season. Now that he is expected to miss quite some time, the Jazz will certainly have their work cut out for them in the coming weeks.
