It has been a troublesome season for Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert as he's dealing with another significant injury — a left PCL sprain and bone bruise — that has him sidelined indefinitely.

According to the Jazz's press release, Gobert was examined on Saturday by their medical staff and will be tested once again in two weeks.

Gobert was reevaluated on Saturday by Utah Jazz medical staff and is showing progress to make a return. He will be reevaluated in two weeks. Further updates will be provided when appropriate.

Rudy Gobert had suffered the injury after he ran into his teammate Derrick Favors less than two minutes into the Jazz's 107-95 win against the Boston Celtics last Friday. Since then, Gobert has missed the last seven games and stands to miss several more as he continues to recover from the injury.

This marks the second injury that he has dealt with this season as he previously sat out 11 games due to a right tibia contusion. In the 18 games that he has played this season, Rudy Gobert has been quite productive averaging a near d0uble-double with 11.6 points and 9.6 rebounds along with 2.3 blocks per contest.

In his absence, the Jazz have struggled to stay afloat in the Western Conference having lost six out of the last seven games. Ultimately, Utah should get more clarity on the situation in a couple of weeks to see when they could have their star big man back in the mix.
