Rudy Gobert had one of his many poetic offseason tweets, this time firing from the hip and taking a potential shot at estranged Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving.

Irving notably requested a trade from the Cavaliers last month and cited wanting to forge his own path as the reason of his discontent with the organization. The 25-year-old reportedly felt this way even after the 2016 championship, but held back in hopes of another deep playoff run.

Gobert meanwhile took his team past a seven-game series against the L.A. Clippers and was consequently swept out of the Western Conference semifinals, running into the buzzsaw the Golden State Warriors proved to be during a 16-1 playoff run.

Gordon Hayward's exit has been a major blow for the Jazz, who will have some moves to make before forging a path to the playoffs again, which presumably makes situations like Irving's all the more painful to watch from The Stifle Tower's perspective.
