Aside from being one of the top defenders in the league today, Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert apparently also has a talent for predicting the future. As revealed by head coach Quin Snyder (albeit jokingly), the team usually relies on Gobert's crystal ball to determine Mike Conley's injury status.

Gobert caught wind of his coach's comments and decided to address the rumors about his psychic prowess on Twitter:

There you have it. This is confirmation from the man himself. Rudy Gobert has psychic abilities and this has played a key role for the Jazz for what appears to be many years now.

Mike Conley has been dealing with a hamstring issue recently, which forced him to miss Monday's shocking loss to the Washington Wizards. He did suit up on Tuesday and again on Friday in a 119-111 win over the Indiana Pacers.

The Jazz are on the second night of a back-to-back set on Saturday against the defending champs, the Los Angeles Lakers, and as coach Snyder said above, Conley's status for that matchup will depend entirely on Rudy's crystal ball. How Conley's hamstring feels or whatever the medical team says simply won't matter.

It will be interesting to see what Gobert's psychic powers will have to say about the recent injury of superstar teammate Donovan Mitchell. The All-Star shooting guard went down with what appears to be a serious ankle injury on Friday and his status moving forward has yet to be determined. Perhaps Rudy has some supernatural insight as to Mitchell's current state?
