The NBA has imposed fines on three Utah Jazz players and one player from the Indiana Pacers following a scuffle between Rudy Gobert and Myles Turner. The pushing and shoving from the centers got them both ejected from the game.

The two players involved in the altercation each received fines — Gobert received a $35,000 fine for initiating it while Turner was fined $25,000. Donovan Mitchell, who was also ejected, was fined $20,000 for escalating the situation by talking trash to the Pacers' bench. Joe Ingles was fined $30,000 for pushing a referee in the midst of the skirmish, which got him ejected, too.

The incident between Gobert and Turner occurred during the fourth quarter of the game, in which the Pacers won 111-100.

Following the game, Mitchell said that the referees were at fault for allowing the fight. Utah's star shooting guard said that allowing too much contact early on led to the intensity to mount. Gobert said to reporters that some players should stop acting like they're going to fight. Turner said that Gobert's grab at his shorts was a dirty move.

The Pacers and Jazz will face each other one more time this season on January 8th in Indiana. Although the tempers from this altercation will probably be depleted by then, the intensity between Gobert, Turner and these two teams will be something to keep an eye on.
