Utah Jazz play-by-play announcer Craig Bolerjack is a seasoned pro. He’s called multiple sports for some of the top networks in the country and has been calling Jazz games on television for over a decade now. By all accounts, he is a well-respected man in his profession.

However, Boler seemed to have a very unprofessional moment when he was caught saying a bad word during the Jazz broadcast of their game against the Washington Wizards. Take a listen for yourself.

That was pretty low on Bolerjack’s part to stick it to the Wizards, who were completely embarrassed by the Jazz in a 116-69 blowout. The Wizards knew they were totally dominated; there’s no need to go and add that expletive.

On a serious note, though, Bolerjack was quite clearly saying the word “bench,” but it did sound fairly close to that other b-word upon first hearing. The creative editing of the clip from the Twitter user @BringBackHotRod also helped insinuate through context that he might’ve said what you thought you heard him say.

Unlike Marc Gasol, though, Bolerjack is a seasoned broadcaster who has a bit more awareness of his being on live television to know better than to say something he shouldn’t have said. Although, if he did actually say it, it would’ve been epic.
