The Utah Jazz have been the hottest team in the NBA of late, as they've fully established themselves as a legitimate contender for this year's crown. Their recent success has had a lot to do with their efficiency from three-point territory, and it comes to no surprise that they've now made history with their 500th triple of the season.
According to NBA Stats on Twitter, the Jazz now hold the record for needing the least games to hit the 500-mark for made three's on the season:

The Jazz are in action on Monday night, and it didn't take them long to showcase their acumen from distance against the Charlotte Hornets. They drained several triples in the first period alone, en route to setting an NBA record.
Needless to say, the Jazz have been very good from beyond the arc so far this season. They currently lead the entire NBA in triples made per game with 16.5 treys per contest. Donovan Mitchell (3.4) and current Sixth Man of the Year frontrunner Jordan Clarkson (3.2) lead the pack for the Jazz, while Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Joe Ingles are all averaging more than 2.0 three-pointers per game.
It's no secret that the three-pointer has become a more potent weapon in today's NBA. The Jazz have taken advantage of this movement, and the results have been magnificent for them. They currently own the best record in the entire NBA, amassing 24 wins against just six losses so far this season.
