The Utah Jazz have banned another fan for life after Shane Keisel was permanently prohibited from attending any future games in the wake of his belligerent behavior against Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.

According to Eric Woodyard of the Deseret News, this second fan, whose name wasn't mentioned, had called Westbrook “boy” several times when the Thunder and Jazz met in the first round of the 2018 playoffs on Apr. 23.

In the video below, the fan is seen pestering Westbrook throughout shootaround, and Russ confronted him and told him “don't call me boy” after flagging down security to deal with the insulting fan:

Jazz owner Gail Miller took the court before Utah faced the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, urging fans not to insult or pester opposing players in the spirit of competition, which is something she has obviously taken very seriously in hopes to clean up the franchise's image.

Miller said “we're not a racist community,” yet both of the fans receiving bans had racist remarks toward Westbrook:

“I think there’s been dialogue amongst the team, the coaches, management, ownership,” Jazz coach Quin Snyder said. “Everybody’s processing and discussing. I think all those things are healthy in getting all the details of everything but suffice to say that the Millers are aware and everybody’s taking steps, generating ideas and plans.”

This could be one of many fans who could soon get the boot from ownership in attempts to erase any semblance of racism from the local community and the team itself, which has taken a hit with recent comments from active and former NBA players.
