The Sacramento Kings initiated the war of words on Twitter, but the Utah Jazz finished it. Prior to their season opener, the Kings Twitter account trolled the Jazz, but after a 123-117 Utah victory, the Jazz Twitter struck back at Sacramento and put the account in a body bag.

Who knew the Golden 1 Center was located on L Street? It's quite fitting considering the fact that Sacramento has been one of the most inept franchises in the NBA for the last 10 years. They haven't made the playoffs since 2006 which was the last time the team finished the season with a winning record.

Rick Adelman led the Kings to the playoffs in all eight seasons at the helm. Since his departure in 2006, Sacramento has cycled through nine coaches and far too many failed draft picks.

We all know the Sacramento Twitter account is just trying to make some jokes, but it's too easy to get clowned when you're the Kings. It was a good attempt from the Kings, but they are rarely the team that gets the last laugh.

Sacramento hopes to change that, but there's little to believe they can turn things around this season. Additionally, they don't have their draft pick next summer — almost definitely a lottery pick — so the rebuild will take even longer than under normal circumstances.

Good effort from the Kings social media team, but they are going to keep taking L's. At least from the Jazz for the time being.
