Ricky Rubio is yet to make his debut for his new team, the Utah Jazz, but if preparations for EuroBasket are any indication — he'll be doing so sporting a vastly different look.

The Spanish international was seen sporting a slicked-back Euro ponytail look along with a beard that can rival James Harden's in the near future during competition.

Call it what you will, whether it is a Jeremy Lin, or a Spencer Hawes, or a Luigi Datome (for those diehards that still remember) — a mix between a Samurai and Maximus Decimus Meridius, the main character from the 2000 film Gladiator — Rubio has definitely changed his look this summer, preparing his facial hair for a cold winter in Utah.

The Spaniard has much to look forward to, including playing alongside an explosive lob target like Rudy Gobert and deadeye shooters such as Joe Ingles and Rodney Hood that will make his stay at the point guard position a comfortable one with different weapons to choose from.

The Jazz will take Ricky Rubio's defense and his dynamic passing talent, bearded or not, but the look definitely gives him a grizzled veteran appeal as he enters his seventh year in the league.
