The Utah Jazz might not be done tweaking their roster, as they are expected to pursue free agents starting Sunday.

According to Tony Jones of The Athletic, the Jazz are one of the teams who will make a run at Thaddeus Young, who will become an unrestricted free agent next month. However, the Jazz will likely face strong competition in the race to sign the veteran power forward.

It remains to be seen if the Jazz would eventually secure a meeting with Young, knowing that the list of interested teams is reportedly a large one. Utah also has some big decisions to make with Derrick Favors set to hit the market. The 27-year-old will listen to calls from interested teams, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Young spent the last three seasons with the Pacers, where he was a solid contributor. In 81 games last season, the 11-year NBA pro averaged 12.6 points on an impressive 52.7 percent shooting from the field to go along with 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

The Pacers are reportedly unlikely to keep Young. According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, Young is a “goner” because the Pacers are now committed to starting Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner next season.
